In conjunction with the City of College Station, BVCAA is helping to revitalize neighborhoods. With funding from the City, BVCAA purchases properties in College Station and procures contractors to build new, single family houses in areas with residents of lower income. Eligible persons will qualify for down payment assistance through the City of College Station, and must obtain their own lender for the financing of the house. The proceeds from the sale of a house go to BVCAA and in turn the funding goes back into the community by repeating the cycle. A perfect example of economic and community development at its best!
