Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood or closely related field. Valid Driver License with a good driving record.
Preferred/Special Qualifications: Prior classroom experience preferred, bilingual helpful but not required.

Title: Early Head Start Floater
Division/Department: Early Head Start Center
Position Description: The position of EHS is responsible for assisting classroom teachers in caring for infants and toddlers by feeding, diapering, providing developmentally appropriate activities, naptime, and outdoor play. Conduct developmental screenings on enrolled children; assist in developing transition plans into EHS and out of EHS, according to 120 day regulations. Help track children's services on web-based data tracking-PROMIS. Provide transportation for infants/toddlers in accordance with Head Start transportation regulations. Cover staff absences in all classrooms at EHS Center.
